Edward Tollemache

Edward John Hugh Tollemache (born 12 May 1976) is the eldest son and heir apparent of Timothy Tollemache, 5th Baron Tollemache and is styled The Honourable Edward Tollemache.

He was educated at Marlborough College, whereas his younger brother, James Henry Timothy Tollemache (born 1980), was educated at Eton College. He is a London-based banker and is married as of 3 February 2007 to the former Sophie Johnstone, daughter of the broadcaster Iain Johnstone;[1] the couple were engaged in May 2006.[2] Besides James, Edward has only one sibling, Selina Karen Tollemache (born 1973). Through their mother, Alexandra, Lady Tollemache, Edward and his siblings are related to the Goschen Baronets and Viscounts Goschen. Through the paternal line, they are connected to the Earldom of Dysart.[3]

Education and career

He attended Marlborough College (1991–1995),[4] living in the C1 House, and then Newcastle University (graduated 1999. He has worked for Fleming Family & Partners Asset Management since 2002 as a Fund Manager.[5] His profile on [6] His Newcastle University degree is in Business Management and Marketing and he worked at Merrill Lynch between graduation and 2002.

Courtier

Tollemache was christened at St. Mary's Church, Helmingham, with Charles, Prince of Wales as a godparent and uncle Michael Tollemache acting as proxy for the Prince.[7] From 1988 to 1990 he was a Page of Honour to The Queen.[8][9]
